Romeo Rivera Gallardo Jr.

Romeo Rivera Gallardo, Jr., 23, of Clute, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. A rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, December 22, at Restwood Funeral Home with a visitation to follow until 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be 10: 30 a.m., Monday, December 23, at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Restwood Memorial Park.

Romeo was born January 20, 1990 in Houston, Texas to Silvia Rivera and Romeo Gallardo. He was a student at Texas A&M University majoring in engineering. He was a loving father, son, brother and friend. He will be missed by numerous family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Eliseo and Maria Rivera, Guillermo and Marcela Gallardo; and aunt Elsa Rivera.

Survivors include his daughter Khloe Gallardo; wife Taylor Judd; sisters Marcella Gallardo and Gabriella Gallardo; his parents; nieces and nephews Daniella Alaniz, Sebastian Alaniz, Jeovony Rodriguez, Miabella Gallardo; great-nephew Jonah Chapa; and God-parents Victor and Mary Martinez.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Texas Dow Credit Union Team Romeo Account #2285703 to start a college fund for his daughter Khloe Gallardo.
