

Viki Sue Holder, of Freeport, was born Wednesday, February 29, 1956 in Pasadena, Texas to Ennis Burton and Patsy Louise Smith Steinwinder and died on Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Freeport at the age of 54 years, 6 months and 13 days.
Viki married Charles Lee Holder, Sr. in August of 1988 in Houston, Texas. She worked as a waitress for many years. Viki was a people person! She enjoyed interaction with the public, always had a good time and was normally the center of attention! She was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. She was an avid reader, animal lover, hunter, fisherman and one of her favorite things was to watch movies, especially if John Wayne was in it! She was a spiritual person and while in school was involved in theater arts. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Charles Lee “Charlie” (Bob) Holder, Jr., who died on April 25, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Charles Lee Holder, Sr of Freeport; sons, Jacob Cane “Jake” Holder of Angleton, Rodney Holder of Dallas; sisters, Dena and Jackie Steinwinder of Freeport and a niece, P. J. Anderson and Army Specialist Joseph “Joey” Anderson of Ft. Bliss, Texas; great niece, Carly Anderson; great nephews, Ethan Anderson and Nicolas Anderson and companion, Sally Rice. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Ally Holder and step granddaughters, Madison, Allison and McKenzie Holder. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 18, 2010 in the Restwood Funeral Home Chapel with Steven Epperley officiating.
