Wanda Jewell (Neal) Beck

Wanda Jewell Beck, of Lake Jackson, was born Saturday, November 15, 1930 in Benjamin, Texas to Clifford C. and Minnie Proffit Neal and died Thursday, December 23, 2010 in Angleton at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 8 days. She spent many years working as a bookkeeper and mother! She was a hard worker and enjoyed bowling as long as her health allowed. She loved life and had a quick wit. She was very involved with her children, watching them play ball and proud of all of them. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Beck and the last love of her life, Roger Walton. She is survived by her sons, Billy Beck and Benny Beck; daughter, Betty Beck; brothers, Garland, Harvey and Danny Neal; many nieces and nephews; caregiver, Pat Herndon and the ladies and gentlemen of the Lake Jackson Manor Apartments. There will not be any public visitation, but her guestbook will be available from 9:00 am Tuesday until service time. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Restwood Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Thomas Lester officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Park.
