Joan and her husband Earl had the opportunity to travel the world together. While living overseas, she generously hosted family and friends introducing them to South Korea and China. She was preceded in death by her husband and her brother, Buddy Malone.
Joan leaves behind her children and their spouses; Kerry and Cleo Whitlock, Kelley and Shawn Cope, Odell and Cindy Wheeler and Chris Wheeler; six grandchildren; Kimber Rossow, Kyle Whitlock, Jessica Geydos, Cody Whitlock, Samantha Wheeler and James Wheeler; and 15 great grandchildren. Joan is also survived by her brother and his wife; Don and Gloria Malone, her sister in law Anna Malone, and five nephews; Ed, Joel, Byron, Matt, and Micah Malone.
A visitation will be held at First Baptist Church Lake Jackson on Thursday, December 18th from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
