

Bettie was kind, generous and fun loving, completely devoted to her family. As a military spouse of a husband who was a pilot in World War II, Korea, and long TDY assignments, she was often left to raise her three young children alone.
Bettie would open her home to foreign exchange students, traveling choir members, relatives, or any of her children's friends who needed a place to stay. After her children grew up and her husband retired, they enjoyed traveling to stay in touch with relatives. Bettie was a long-serving member of Grace United Methodist Church. active in Beta Sigma Sorority and the Red Hat Ladies.
Bettie is survived by her brother, Bobby (Carolyn) Boyce, Texarkana, Tx: three children: Larry (Sandy) Mundhenk, St. Peters, Mo; Diane (Bobby) Baum , Lakeland, Fl; and Cindy Brooks, Lakeland, Fl; nine Grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. All those who loved her will miss Bettie!
The family will receive visitors at the Brevard Memorial Funeral Home (5475 N. U.S. Highway #1, Cocoa, Fl 32927) between 10 and 11am Wed., June 8, 2016. There will be a celebration of her life at 2:00pm the same afternoon at Grace United Methodist Church, 65 Needle Blvd, Merritt Island, Fl
