Corine Kinnebrew Ford entered into her heavenly home on January 22, 2014. Born April 23, 1928 in Boydton, VA to Thomas L. Kinnebrew and Fannie Lee Deadwyler Kinnebrew, this year would have been her 86th birthday.
Moving with her husband, John C. Ford, and family to Florida in 1959, she was quick to become active in FBCMI and become employed by the school system. Faced with the death of her husband and son David E. Ford in 1991, she remained faithful to her Lord and her family. Always a loving and watchful mother, Renie was always available to her children. Whe worked as teacher aide and substitute at MILA Elementary and Edgewood Jr. High and as secretary to Mr. Bob Bruton at MIHS, all the while starting Girls’ Auxiliary at FBCMI. Her devotion continued as she served as secretary to Mr. Brad McLam at MI Christian School where her grandchildren attended.
After the death of her first grandchild, Wendy C. Rogers, she was involved with the care of her great-grandchildren, Caleb Cordes, and Tanner and Rachel Rogers. She was enormously proud of all of her grandchildren, including Jonathan and Charlie Pennell, Carrie Ford and Garet Bodahl and great granddaughter MaryAllen Ford. Her brother John L. Kinnebrew lives in Titusville, FL.
Combining households for the care of Renie and the grandchildren, four generations including “son-in-love” and devoted grandson Drew Cordes, have lived together in NW Cocoa for the last eight years. With the involvement of her devoted son, Tony, she was quite thrilled with the colorful view from her windows. Now moving on to a more beautiful paradise, whe will be greatly missed.
To the God of all Comfort, we give praise. Amen.
A celebration of her life will be held on Wed. Jan. 29 at 11 a.m. at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 321-636-3720.
