Cocoa, Fl. - Harold Joseph Flanagan passed away peacefully at his home in Pt. St. John, at the age of 93. Hal ‘Flan’ will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marge, dear father to Chris (Cheryl), Karen, Colleen Collins (Rick), Heather Freeman (Matt) and beloved grandad to Tom, Daniel, Audrey, Brad, Nicole, Rachael, Eva, Adam and Amanda as well as great-grandad to Micah, Jesse and Martin.
Hal was born in Jersey City, NJ on January 15, 1929 and moved to Florida in 1970. He was a 25 year veteran of the United States Air Force and served as a technical illustrator in the defense department that included NORAD and SAC projects in the US and Europe. After his military service, he continued using his illustrative skills as a CAD draftsman with the South Florida Water Management District where he retired.
He was a man of faith who enjoyed spending time with family and friends over any other interests and will be deeply missed by all that were a part of his wonderful life.

A funeral mass for Hal will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 203 Ojibway Avenue, Titusville, FL 32780 followed by a military ceremony and burial at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Fl.
