Jennie Mack Krell, 89, of Cocoa, passed away September 16, 2011. She was born July 10, 1922, in Wauchula, Florida, the daughter of Peter and Olga Kujat Mack. She met Roy Krell while working at Carlstrom Field in Arcadia, Florida, and was married for 66 years. Jennie was a homemaker who earned her beautician’s license in the mid-1960’s. She had a servant’s heart and was particularly gifted in the area of hospitality. She was a country cook, a student in the kitchen of her mother-in-law, Sallie Krell, and her table was open to any who came through her door. She was a civic volunteer in election years and was actively involved in the First Baptist Church of Cocoa. She had a can-do spirit, loved people, was devoted to Roy, had a passion for gardening, dabbled in art, out-fished whoever was in the boat with her, and canned about any type of food that could be preserved.
She is survived by her three children, Ron and his wife Toni of Orlando; Peggy Bowling and her husband Roger of Burleson, TX; and Marc of Rockledge; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the First Baptist Church of Cocoa or the American Cancer Society.
