He was born on July 29, 1934 in Exeter, New Hampshire to the late Harry and Kay Moreau.
He graduated from Exeter High School in 1952.
Joe served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961. Joe enjoyed his career at Publix for
25 years, retiring as a Market Manager. After retiring from Publix he continued to stay in
contact with the many friends he made during his time at Publix.
Joe and his loving wife, Midge, enjoyed traveling the world with their family. He made many
special memories that will be forever cherished by his family for the times they spent together.
Even the smallest things will always hold a place in our hearts for Joe, from watching
College football to the family functions we celebrated together.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley "Midge" Moreau; his children, Lynn (Rick)
Norris, Bruce (Charlotte) Moreau, Lori (Larry) Simun, Joanne Moreau, Pam Alberts, Jeff
Tilton, Jimmy Tilton, Stacey (Terry) Fischer, Gene (Patty) Lutz; 23 grandchildren;
20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; sisters, Caroline Moreau and Tami
Moreau; brother Harry (Carol) Moreau; and step-mother, Mary Moulton; and a host
of close family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Moreau and Kay Bolduc, son, Gary
Moreau; and sister, Marge Forbes.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 21st from 2-3pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral
Home Chapel, 5475 N. U.S. Highway #1, Cocoa, Florida, with services to follow at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe Moreau's name to
Toys for Tots.
Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Cocoa is entrusted with the arrangements.
