Lila Grace Moore passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010. Lila was born in Decatur, AL to James and Cogie Alvis. She worked as a secretary for Virgina Construction and managed a mining pit for Atlantic Earth Materials of Cocoa. She loved to travel until her illness greatly restricted her activities. She enjoyed keeping her small gardens, especially her Orchids. But most of all Lila loved her family, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving children, Jack (wife Debra) Moore Jr., Jackie McGuiness, James (wife Christy) Moore, Larry (wife Bonnie) Moore. Lila is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Delila Moore; granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Moore; and sisters, Ruth, Rowena and Pauline.
Family will receive friends on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Brevard Memorial Park.
