Robert "Bob" Leo Bachman

Robert “Bob” Leo Bachman, 75, passed away on July 25, 2019 with his loving wife Karen by his side. Robert was born October 25, 1943 in Rockford, IL., to the parents of Leo Francis and Dorothy Eileen Bachman.

Bob was a 35-year member of Painters and Allied trades Local 607, Rockford, IL. Employed at C.L. Coatings for 40 years. He mentored every young man in his life with his work ethic that was unsurpassed. His hobbies included Nascar, The Raiders, enjoyed cruises, and was famous for his fried bread.

He is preceded in death by his 2 brothers; David and Andy Bachman.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years Karen; his 10 children: Laura Brown of Baltimore, MD, Shannon McClain of Maitland, FL. Robert Bachman, Jr. (Tania) of Athens, GA, Amy Scott (Mike), of Riverdale, IA, Arren Mayle (Eddie) of Ocean Springs, MS, Aaron Bachman (Janet) of Durland, IL, Chad Redden (Andrea), of Port St. John, FL, Kevin Bachman (Crystal) of Rockton, IL, Adria Olaiz (Tony) of Las Vegas, NV, and Clayton Bachman (Laura) of Gilbertsville, PA.; his 24 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters: Mary Mills (Robert) of Cadiz, KY, and Jean Mann (Jim) of Rockford, IL.

He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 11 am-1 pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 N. US Hwy 1, Cocoa, FL with a Funeral Service to follow at 1pm.
