Denver, Colorado on August 1st, 1934. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Gordon
Greenhalgh and Michael Greenhalgh, his daughter Hope Greenhalgh, and his former wife
Marilyn Ritter Greenhalgh. He was beloved Papaw to Kyle, Erin, Mikaela, Micah, Ashley,
Johnny, Daniel, Sarah, Elisabeth and Noah. He also had 16 great grandchildren.
Ron will be remembered most for being a man who was loving, kind and generous with a
great sense of humor. A man who operated with integrity, who was liked and respected by all
who knew him. A man who didn't talk about his faith, but a man who demonstrated his faith
daily by how he treated people.
Ron served in the National Guard for 8 years. He worked for several companies at the
Space Center spanning 40 years. He was a deacon at Westside Baptist Church for a time. He
was also an avid softball player and tennis player. He was able to travel throughout the world,
and lived for a time in Colorado and New York City. Ron has left a legacy of the kind of person
we should all want to strive for. We will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Church, 2813 Howland Blvd. Deltona FL
on April 2nd at 11:00 A.M.
