Rose was born in Tonawanda, New York to loving parents James and Martha Owens. Rose moved to Florida in 1960. She worked for several years at Rockwell-Kennedy Space Center. Rose was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church Merritt Island. She enjoyed studying her genealogy, playing the piano, and traveling the world.
Rose leaves to mourn her - her loving Nephew Arleigh Sharpe and his wife Oksun, one sister Lois Sharpe and one niece Peggy Findley and her husband Tom. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Elliott.
Graveside services for family only will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Brevard Memorial Cemetery Frontenac, FL beginning at 11:00AM. Memorial Services will be held Saturday January 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at Faith Presbyterian Church 1900 South Tropical Trail. Merritt Island, FL.
