John Murray Munger Jr.

John worked at Stokes Marine in Coldwater and later at Lawton Marine.

He is survived by his son Ronnie, mother, Arlene Lawton Munger of Coldwater, brother, Edwin Munger of Coldwater, an aunt, Gertie Stayner of Coldwater, uncle and aunt, Robert and Mary Lawton of Coldwater, cousins, Danny and Teddie Stayner of Coldwater and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jerry Munger, brother, Terry Munger, sister, Susan Munger Purk and his father, John.

John had a very special love of cats and helping his neighbors. He attended the Coldwater Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Putnam Funeral Home in Coldwater. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 13, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness at 337 Jonesville Road, Coldwater at 3:00 p.m. with Elder Richard Bertchinger of the Albion Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness officiating. Burial will be at East Gilead Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Coldwater.
