Michael Loman Gallimore

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 8, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Mike was a kind, hard working and animated person who remained dedicated to those he loved. After graduating from Lakeshore High School in 1978, he successfully trained and pursued a career as a commercial truck driver. He loved sharing stories, especially from his cross-country travels and days as "Gig" (his nickname) as a lighting tech for local bands. In recent years, he worked in warehouse logistics and drove fork lifts, but he often spoke of his dream to own a semi-truck and to revisit the western U.S.. A lover of classic rock music, he enjoyed time spent with others. He often expressed how much he missed his parents and sisters.

Mike was born in Atlanta, GA on 11/29/1960. He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Loman Gallimore, Jr. and Annie Clyde Gallimore; sisters Carolyn Newsome Beck and Debbie New Beck; and nephew, Taylor Beck.

Missing him now are his Brothers-in-law, Charles Beck (Mallory & Lindsay), Richard (Laura) Beck (nieces Haley Beck & Lexi Beck); Niece, Lorin Newsome Voigt (John & Leah); Nephews, Michael New & Nathan Newsome (Chris & Taylor), many dear friends and extended family members.
