It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Macy Leigh Brunson, at the age of 14. A bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her, Macy was a creative force and a dreamer whose life was just beginning to bloom. She treated everyone with care and had a heart full of love. She was always looking out for her family and was especially great with children.
Whether she was sketching in her notebooks, creating new pieces of art, singing at the top of her lungs, or performing on stage in theater productions, she poured her heart into expressing herself. She was standing on the precipice of young adulthood, filled with ambition and excitement for the future. She was counting down the days until she could learn to drive and couldn’t wait to take the wheel of her dad’s Corvette.
While we are left with an unimaginable loss, we find comfort in knowing that she is finding peace in the light of heaven. Although we are deeply grieving, we find hope that we will be reunited again in the light of Jesus Christ.
Macy is survived by her parents, Bill and Pam Brunson and Leah Burris, Grandparents Sam and Judy Burris, Siblings Margee (Mike) Robertson, Bil (Sarah) Brunson, Mike (Melissa) Brunson, Calyste Hanks, Kendal (Josh) Siegel, Tana (David) Perley, Chase (Jessica) Corrington, Jackson Burditt and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
