Michael Ray Lindsey, 49 of College Station went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 26, 2010 at Central Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery of College Station.
Mike was born September 2, 1960 in Sullivan, Missouri the son of Kenneth and Billie Lindsey. He was a graduate of Texas A&M University, class of 89 and received his Master’s Degree from A&M in 1991. Mike served in the U.S. Navy and was the Director of Finance for Scott & White. He was a member of the Bryan Rotary Club and a member of First Baptist Church of College Station.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ray Lindsey.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie; his sons, Kenneth, David, Stephen and Bradley; mother, Billie Lindsey; sisters Marcia Locher, Shelley Serres and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lindsey Family Benefit at Prosperity Bank for the college education of Mike’s sons.
