Celebration of life: The family cordially invites you to her celebration of life service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel in Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
Alison was born on Sept. 5, 1964, in Fullerton, Calif., daughter of Joe and Aline Hicks. She shared 23 years with her husband, David, and together they had two beautiful children.
Beloved by all who knew her, Alison will be sorely missed. Her spunk, strength of character and devotion to her family were an inspiration. Alison was the glue that held her family together. Before coming to Texas in 2000, Alison's roots were steeped in southern California. She graduated from Cal State University and went on to receive her master's degree in business from the University of San Francisco. Alison worked in human resources for many years while still keeping family her top priority.
Her father, Joe Hicks, predeceased her.
Survivors: Left to honor her memory is her husband, David; daughter, Emily, 21; son, Austin, 19; mother, Aline Hicks McCoy; brothers, Kevin and wife, Susan Hicks, Jonathan and wife, Christi Hicks; and a host of friends.
