SORRY ...I JUST SAW THIS MEMORIAL FOR ALLAN.WHAT A VERY NICE MEMORIAL  FOR HIM.  AND I JUST WANT TO ADD A TRIBUTE OF CONDOLENCE TO HIS FAMILY. WE LIVED IN WOLFE CITY IN 1967-1969, AS A HOUSE GUEST, 
 WHILE ALLAN WAS GOING TO COLLEGE. I ALSO WORKED WITH ALLAN AT TEXAS TAG. WE HAD MANY FUN LAUGHS TOGETHER. I LOVED JOKING AND TEASING HIM (MICE). HE WAS A VERY SMART AND VERY DEBATABLE YOUNG MAN.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Perry's passing.  He was one of my favorite teachers at Irving MacArthur High School in the early 70s. He made his World History class interesting and encouraged lively group discussion on topics from religion to politics and current events,  thus teaching us to develop individual critical thinking skills and form our own opinions.  He was patient and kind, with a goofy sense of humor and a very giving spirit of which we weren't worthy.   I hope that he had a happy, wonderful life!  He certainly made a difference in mine!

Alan Perry taught World History and Government at MacArthur High School.  I was one of his students for both courses over two years.  

Mr. Perry was a unique educator that treated us with far more dignity than we were used to and probably more than we deserved.   He rejected the dismissive attitude most students received from educators during the very early '70's.   He sought to reach us and pull us into engaging in exchanges of thought and perception... to help us grow.   We learned very soon what an advocate for us he was, and he was very popular with the students.

On a personal note, Alan actually co-signed my first bank loan for transportation.  Something my own parents were not willing to do... (you can bet I paid that note on time until it was paid off,)  and I have never forgotten the incredible kindness and concern he showed me.  I never will.  

Rest in peace, Alan Perry.  You were a good man who made a difference!

I started working at AA the same time as Allan.  He was always fun to work with,he always had something to talk about and was very amusing sometimes.  I'm sorry he never got a chance to enjoy retirement with his wife and family.   Allan was such a hard worker. R.I.P. my friend.  Donna McCutcheon

Thanks for all the memories it was a pleasure to know you work with you at American Airlines.
You always brought a cheer to the workplace had many friends you will be missed by all.Thanks for being part of are lives RIP.

Allan is such a wonderful man and will be missed.  He was a great Husband to my friend Debbie,  and Father to her children.  If only there were more men like him.   

Debbie no words can express at this time the sorrow and grief that you are going through.   Our sincere condolences.   Allan loved and took care of  you and his family with all his heart.  Just know he is resting in peace with our Lord and his family.   Love you

Uncle Allan will be greatly missed.  I loved riding around with him and Grandpa Harlow listening to them bicker and talk. He was always there for advice and to lend a hand when it was needed.  It makes me sad that they are both gone now but it helps to know that they are together again. 

Uncle Allen will be greatly missed! I am so sorry for your loss. He was such an inspiration to me as he helped me to understand life financially... He was always so easy to talk with and always gave me hope.. I will forever keep him in my heart!! 

For I and my siblings, Allen was a memorable part of our childhood.  As he was only a few years older than us, he was really more like a brother than an uncle.  My fondest memory of him was when we would play court.  Of course, he was always the judge (and jury).  Judge Roy Bean (the hanging judge of bygone days) had nothing on him!  For sure,  I don’t ever remember being found innocent.  In fact I think he once found grandma (his mother) guilty of stealing two chocolate cookies!  Always animated, always ready for political discourse, and most importantly always concerned for family.  While we will miss him, it’s nice to know he has all his brothers and sisters waiting for him on the other side.  Say hello to mom, Allen.

So very, very sorry for your loss. Family was alway so important to Allan and we always looked forward to our annual family reunions. Bill always has a lot of funny stories about Allan from their childhood and alway thought of him more as an older brother than an uncle. Keeping all of his family in our thoughts and prayers. May he Rest In Peace. 

I am so glad that we got to take our road trip last fall to New York with Allan.  Had a lot of fun and made great memories with him and family. Showed us all his old stomping grounds. It was quite a trip. Love him always!!!

It was such a blessing to get to know Allan over the past few years. I will always remember his politic discussions and how he always carried his plastic fork in his shirt pocket if we were at a big family function! If we ran out of plasticware, he would be covered! Love and miss him so much.

You will be missed by all who knew you. Your love and kindness towards your family and friends was felt by all. My family and I extend our heartfelt condolences to your family and Deborah. God bless and may you Rest In Peace.
