Family and friends are invited to gather at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, in the chapel of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Interment: Whispering Waters in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Bennett was born to Benjamin and Kathlynn Looney on June 1, 1953, in Bell, Calif. He was a 1971 graduate of Plano High School and a 1980 graduate of Texas State Technical Institute with an associate of arts degree. Bennett was an impressionist at heart with a lifelong passion for art and painting. He was an avid local sports fan. Bennett enjoyed making wine and beer and received several awards. If Bennett met you once, you were his friend for life.
Survivors: Brothers, Reigan Looney and wife, Darlene, and John Looney; aunt, Ami; four nieces; cousins; and a host of friends.
