  Mr. Bill was a kind hearted person that loved life, his blushing bride and his family.   
I don't think Bill ever met a stranger so it's no surprise that he was a successful salesman.  

I'm sure he's playing a golden guitar and singing his heart out.  

Bill was a good friend and he's definitely going to be missed.

Many fond memories of Bill at the guitar classes & singing groups in NRH; he was a wonderful person & always thinking of others!  He was well respected in our little music world & had lots of friends!

In the attached pictures, he is seated on the far left with his guitar & sharing kind words with a fellow singer at the table during a luncheon where we all performed.

My sincere condolences to his family & especially to Leonora, whom I met a couple of times.  Keep your wonderful memories of him with you always & know that as long as you live, he lives through them.

Ann and I were saddened to hear of Bill's passing. We have fond memories of your visit with us in D'Lo and ours with you in NRH.
Bill was responsible for me starting the jam in D'Lo that lasted many years even after we had moved.
We were so hoping that you both could have come visit us here in Mountain View as I know Bill would have loved all the music we have here around the square. That didn't happen, but we have the hope of seeing him again in a better place.

Bill  (and Lenora) was such a joy to have as a neighbor.   The last 20 years were fun with many front yard talks.  Mark especially enjoyed Bill's stories.  There has not been anyone more kind than Bill and he is very much missed in the neighborhood.  Mark and I send our prayers to Lenora and Mary Jo that God will provide comfort in their loss.

Bill is a modern day Will Rogers who never met anyone he didn’t like or drum up conversations with.

Bill will be missed by many! We had many discussions about the Saturday night music events at Dan Echols Center which was a major passion of Bill's.

A great spokesperson for the group and never afraid to speak his mind on what the city should do to continue the program.

So sorry to hear your loss.  Bill was a wonderful friemd.  We had lots of fun teaching in Sunday School together for several years.  He and Lenora were wonderful neighbors.

Mr. B was always like a second father to me growing up. He was  great salesman and an even greater man ! I bet he’s in heaven making Alan do his monkey bar exercises ! He will be truly missed ! 

Lenora and Mary Jo, I am so sorry for your loss. Bill was such a kind and gregarious man. He was willing to share his thoughts and music with anyone that asked. He and Lenora taught First and Second grade Sunday School with Patsy Cherryhomes and Jana for several years back in the 80s. They loved the kids and it showed. 

I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. He was always such a sweet man. Him & Leonora were a wonderful couple who were always kind to our family. Our thoughts & prayers go out to Mary Jo, Art and the family. I know he will be dearly missed.
