

Bonnie was born to William Silas Burnett and Rosa Lee Burnett, on July 12, 1928, on the Staley Ranch in Haslet, Texas. Bonnie was raised on the Staley Ranch along with her half brother Horace Clabe Burnett and brother Billie Burke Burnett.
Bonnie lived on the Staley Ranch until her marriage to James Ray Flanagan on June 19, 1943. Bonnie and James Ray had three children, Linda Elaine, Jimmy Randall, and Ben Leyland.
Bonnie graduated from Nursing School at the age of fifty years old and retired from Harris HEB Hospital where she worked as an OB/Gyn nurse. Bonnie and James Ray were married for over fifty three years with the marriage ending with the death of James Ray on November 13, 1996.
Bonnie later married Willis Jean Moore who had lost his wife around the same time that Bonnie lost James Ray. That marriage ended with the death of Willis Jean on November 10, 2015.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, William Silas and Rosa Lee, Burnett, two half brothers, Pete Burnett, and Horace Clabe Burnett, half sisters Fannie Burnett, Sophia Burnett Young, Ethel Burnett Miller, one brother Billie Burke Burnett, daughter Linda Elaine Toyer, and son Jimmy Randall Flanagan.
Bonnie is survived by her son Ben Flanagan and wife Deborah, stepdaughter Kristy Hargus and husband Jame, daughter-in-law Pat Flanagan, son-in-law M. C. Toyer, granddaughter Jennifer Elan Toyer, grandsons Jerry Flanagan, William Jay Flanagan ,Neal Flanagan and wife Jessica, great granddaughter Jara Shidler and husband Austin, great grandsons Maverick Flanagan, Chase Toyer, Colton Flanagan, Wyatt Flanagan, Remington Flanagan, and one great-great granddaughter Aurora Flanagan.
Bonnie enjoyed traveling and doted on her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great granddaughter, and her beloved Persian cat, Toby.
Bonnie's services will be held on May 22nd, 2025 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, TX 76034. Visitation at 10 a.m., Funeral at 11 a.m., and burial at 12 p.m.
