

Chase Alexander McMillan was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Chase will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of Bryan McMillan, step-mother Tiffanie McMillan, and his late mother Jennifer McMillan.
Chase was raised with two siblings. He had one brother Mason and one sister Morgan. Chase was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
A typical teenager, Chase had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from Southlake Carroll High School in 2014. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. While in high school, Chase was very active and involved in numerous activities such as; a member of the Dragon Tribune, KDGN radio program, swim team and the Chinese Club. Chase was passionate about the Chinese language and culture as was evident by his volunteer experience as a teacher for the Advent Taiwan Group in the summer of his junior year.
Chase enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. He was very technically skilled in areas such as http web-coding and graphic design that lead him to start his own business, Chase’s Graphic Design, which he founded when he was only a Freshman. Chase's interests included snowboarding, drawing, reading, writing, and cooking. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.
Chase passed away on January 31, 2016 in New York City, New York. Chase is survived by his father Bryan, step-mother, Tiffanie, brother Mason (16) and sister Morgan (11). Grandparents, and the entire extended family also survive. Services were held at Gateway Church in North Richalnd Hills. Chase was laid to rest in the Independant Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery in Westlake Cemetery.
Simply stated, Chase was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Chase leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Chase Alexander McMillan.

Chase Alexander McMillan a resident of Southlake, Texas passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, at Gateway Church - North Richland Hills Campus, 7501 Davis Blvd, North Richland Hills. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home 5725 Colleyville Boulevard in Colleyville .Interment: IOOF Cemetery in Westlake. Chase was preceded in death by his mother Jennifer McMillan. Chase is survived by his father Bryan, step-mother, Tiffanie, brother Mason (16) and sister Morgan (11). Grandparents, and the entire extended family also survive him. He spent a year studying abroad at New York University in Shanghai, China after graduating from Southlake Carroll High School in 2014. While in high school, Chase was very active and involved in numerous activities such as; a member of the Dragon Tribune, KDGN radio program, swim team and the Chinese Club. Chase was passionate about the Chinese language and culture as was evident by his volunteer experience as a teacher for the Advent Taiwan Group in the summer of his junior year.
