Christine Duncan, born on October 3, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024, in North Richland Hills, TX. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Scott, and a nurturing mother to her children: Russell Albright and his wife, Monica; Chris Albright and his wife, Ashley; and Cory Mitchell. Christine's legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren—Skylar, Riley, Liam, Nicholas, Ella, Lukas, and Tinsley—who brought immense joy to her life.
A woman of boundless love and creativity, Christine dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family. As a sister to Jana and sister-in-law to Kenneth Macalik—and an aunt who doted on nieces Ali, Keeli, and Mary—as well as many great-nieces and nephews—Christine’s warmth extended far beyond the immediate family.
In addition to being a loving matriarch of the family unit that meant everything to her heart's core; Christine had an artistic spirit that shone brightly through crafting. Alongside her best friend Seretha—a partnership rooted in friendship—they founded a mum company that became not just a business but also an expression of their shared passion for creativity.
Christine is preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Speer—a loss that left an indelible mark upon her heart. Now, she is reunited with him along with their mother, Judy Speer, whom she held dear within every fiber of her being.
A visitation to honor Christine will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, TX on January 6th at 6pm. The funeral service will be held at there on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, at 2pm where friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate Christine’s remarkable life before laying her gently at rest near the grave of her mother who meant so much.
As we gather together during this time of sorrowful reflection over our profound loss, we remember Christine for how deeply she loved us all unconditionally until the very end.
