Corinne Harper Patrick

Corinne Harper Patrick lost her battle with cancer on June 4, 2017 at the age of 71. She resided in Colleyville, TX. with her son and daughter in law for the last 9 months. Corinne was born in Chatfield, Texas on February 5, 1946 to WM “Son” and Bess Harper. She was known as “Kin Gal” to her childhood friends and family. Corinne is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Roger and Donna Kaye Patrick of Colleyville, Texas and her two grandsons, Ryan, age 9, and Rhett, age 7; her ex-husband Raymond Patrick of Frisco; two close cousins and their spouses, Nancy and Jay Fry of Colleyville, Texas and David and Ginger Ellis of Katy, Texas. Corinne was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Bobby who passed in 1985. Corinne was raised on a Texas farm with no running water until she was an adult. She learned a great work ethic and how to stretch a dollar from her father and how to be a great and loving mother from her mom. Corinne was very smart and skipped second grade. She later graduated from Ennis High School and attended Navarro Junior College in Corsicana. While attending school, she met and married Raymond Patrick in 1965. After Raymond’s term in the Air Force in Merced California, where both sons were born, they relocated back to Denison Texas. She raised their family and worked in the printing industry as an Office Manager for SCM Allied Egry. They relocated to Bellville, Texas in 1982 to help open a new plant for SCM. Corinne briefly lived in Houston in the late 80s before relocating back to the DFW Metroplex for the remainder of her life. Corinne lived to be a mom and to work. She worked until her cancer diagnosis last year and was known for her tremendous work ethic. Neither snow nor ice could keep Corinne away from her commitments. Her hobbies were being a great mom and grandmother and she excelled at both. Her greatest pleasures came from the accomplishments of her kids and grandkids. She was a selfless provider. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to JDRF, a cause supported by Corinne.
