Cory will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend and co-worker to all who knew and loved him. He was born on October 23, 1987 in Irving, TX to Max Stephen and Donna Hughey Feuchter. Cory graduated from Carroll High School in Southlake in 2006, and attended TCJC in 2006-2007. He played trumpet in the Marching Band and Jazz Band at Carroll. His love of music led him to learn to play guitar and mandolin.
He was an avid disc golf player and made many close friends through that hobby. Cory recently began working with a special group of people, and he was really feeling blessed by his newfound family of friends. We loved seeing him so happy. His favorite place was the family ranch where he loved to hunt and fish. Cory had a special love for all of nature’s creatures, and had a knack for spotting wildlife of all types.
Cory is survived by his parents; brothers Cole and Cameron Feuchter; devoted girlfriend Laura; grandparents Homer and Jane Feuchter and Jean Smith; uncles Mark Feuchter and Brian Hughey (Jennifer); aunts Anita Braun (Tom) and Shannon Brame, numerous cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by Papa Larry Smith and special cat, Frooty.
The Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2020 and will be live streamed, due to COVID limitations by Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to About Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation – wildlife-rescue.org.
