She was a retired stockbroker who served in that capacity for 50 years. At one point in time, the CEO of Paine Webber said she was one of the top 10 stockbrokers in the southwest. She was recruited from another firm to work for Paine Webber by the CEO of the company. She had many friends in her business.
Darlene was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Dallas. After retiring she loved to work with the Texas Baptist Men and Women church builders. She was beloved by fellow church members and the Walker Sunday School Class.
She is survived her husband, Dwight R. Grantham and extended family Michael and Becky Grantham and their children, Shawn, Seth and Ellie.
A Memorial Service will held at First Baptist Church Dallas at a later date.
