Darrell R Thompson,86, of Colleyville passed away on September 20, 2023.
He was born in Hickory, NC on 07/13/1937.
Darrell graduated from U of North Carolina and received a PhD degree in Chemistry in 1964.
He was married to Susan D Thompson on 11/19 /1966.
Darrell worked as a research scientist and produced about a dozen patents as he worked for DuPont and
Johnson & Johnson.
He had a passion for golf and also running.
Darrell was survived by loving wife Susan, sons Scott and Brian, daughter-in- law Kristina, and grandchildren David, Jake, Jonathan, Amanda, Nick and Elena.
And shortly by great granddaughter Isabella.
A funeral service for Darrell will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 from 11:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.
