Deborah L. Austin White

Deborah L. White was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Deborah will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

       She was the daughter of Hurshel and Mildred Austin.

      Deborah was raised with two brothers Hurshel and Paul and one sister Roxanne. Deborah was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings shared many life experiences over the years.

      A typical teenager, Deborah had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. She enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers.

       Empathic and loyal, Deborah was committed to making her new family happy.

      Deborah worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Deborah was blessed with five children, Tonya, Selina, Mark, April, and Brandy. Another blessing for Deborah was the gift of six grandchildren, Austin, Brett, Autumn, Makenna, Kali, and Logan.

      Deborah enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. She loved shopping. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.

      Deborah passed away on August 7, 2016 at HEB Hospital in Bedford, Texas. She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Jimmy Wayne White; children, Tonya Surbaugh, Selina White, Mark Nunez, April Nunez and Brandy Saleh; grandchildren, Austin, Brett, Autumn, Makenna, Kali and Logan; siblings, Hurshel L. Austin Jr., Roxanne Heath and Paul Austin; nephew, Lance; and niece, Tannah. Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas. Deborah was laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.

      Deborah was an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Deborah leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Deborah L. White.

Deborah "Debbie" White, 63, loving wife, mother and grandmother "GaGa," passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016, surrounded by family. Debbie was born December 31, 1952, to Hurshel and Mildred Austin in Corpus Christi. Debbie was a graduate of North Richland Hills High School, loved shopping, but most importantly being a loving grandmother. Those preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors: Beloved husband of 30 years, Jimmy Wayne White; children, Tonya Surbaugh, Selina White, Mark Nunez, April Nunez and Brandy Saleh; grandchildren, Austin, Brett, Autumn, Makenna, Kali and Logan; siblings, Hurshel L.
