Dennis Allen Paulsen of Grapevine, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at the age of 79. Dennis was born on October 5th, 1944, in Norfolk, Virginia. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.
Dennis enjoyed classical music, reading, collecting books of various genres, and staying in touch with his many friends both here and abroad. One of his favorite pastimes was TENNIS. He watched it on television almost every day and made sure that Cameron knew all the top players. He also loved “happy hour” at Sonic and had the Cranberry Bliss Bar from Starbucks on his mind as the seasons finally changed this year; he had quite a sweet tooth!
Dennis was in the Army as a young man and had many fond memories of his time in Heidelberg Germany, where he married Susan and sang with the 7th Army Soldiers Chorus.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arne and Sarah Paulsen and his wife, Susan Rinker Paulsen.
Dennis is survived by his daughter, Anne-Marie, his granddaughter Cameron, and his brothers David and Arne.
As he wished, Dennis will be laid to rest with Susan and his parents at the Riverside National Cemetery in California.
