Ms. Diane M Hood

Diane Minnie Hood was born December 3rd, 1951 to Beverly Joy and Raymond Michael Borst in Chicago, Illinois.

She was a devoted mother to her son, Christopher, and a good friend to many. She loved going to the Holy Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. She prayed her rosary daily for so many of us.

She exercised daily and loved taking her precious companion, Ballad for walks around the block. She even bought him a "doggy" stroller.

She is survived by her son Christopher Barwick, her sisters, Kathryn Hargis, Jackie Mills, and Michele Overcash. Her nieces, Jennifer King and husband, Morgan, Kristina Kane and her husband, Patrick. Nephew John A. hargis Jr. and wife Carolyn. An grandnieces Emily King, Lauren Kane, and Lindsey Kane.

She will be greatly missed by those she loved.

May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed Rest In Peace Amen.

Diane's services will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 at St. Mary the Virgin Catholic Church, 1408 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012.

The rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. and will be followed with a funeral mass starting at 2:30 p.m.

Diane will be laid to rest, later in the day at 3:45 p.m., at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.
