Mr. Dominic Sansone Jr.

It pains us to announce the passing of Dominic Sansone-DeBruyn Jr. It seemed like everyone who knew him, called him by a different name – Dominic, Dom, DJ, Deej.

Dominic was born August 1, 1988 to Joyce Mary Schneider and Dominic Sansone in Long Branch, NJ. He grew up in New Jersey, Georgia, Dallas, and eventually settled in Salt Lake City where he married his soulmate Garrett DeBruyn-Sansone in July of 2021. He lived there happily with Garrett, their dog Jax, and their two cats Leo and Kaya. Dom was a loving husband and son and became a dedicated, dear friend to all who were blessed to know him. He loved to ride horses, garden, and spend time with his family. Throughout his life, he overcame tremendous obstacles and we were all so proud to watch his growth and maturation. DJs infectious smile, resilient spirit, and witty sense of humor will always remain with us. He died on the night of 11/24/22 and is survived by his loving husband Garrett, mother Joyce, father Dominic (wife Gay), sister Morgan (husband Nicholas), and nephew Owen.

Please join us in celebrating Dominic’s life and sharing stories of remembrance on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022 at 2pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas.

We grieve his loss, yet the pain of his parting is nothing to the joy of meeting him again.
