Dorothy Viola Dennis

Dorothy went to heaven where she met her mother and father, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, son-in -law Ernie Herr, son in law Michael Love and cousins that she grew up with.

Dorothy will be waiting in heaven when her children; Doug Foisy (Debbie), Brenda Herr, Bruce Foisy, Darlene Reed and Annette Love arrive to meet her, along with 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and cousins and friends.

Dorothy grew up in Willis, Texas. Her love in life was taking care of and raising her kids. She would always give her input and “strongly advise” us whether it was needed or not. She was full of life, mischief and love for anyone around her.

Dorothy loved reading and helping others, always trying to make someone’s life better. During her early years there were always kids at her house, and whether they were hers or not she helped them. It was said that any stray kid, dog, cat, or even a duck once, could come to mom’s house if they needed a place to stay. After Dorothy’s kids were raised, she became involved in home health care for the terminally ill and the elderly thriving; taking care of them and helping them live their lives to the fullest.

Dorothy was loved by all, will be missed by many but we know we will be with her again one day. As momma always said, “We don’t say goodbye, we say later "

A graveside service for Dorothy will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 12 p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville,TX 76034.
