Dorothy Jeanette Ragon

She was married to Thomas Andrew Ragon on April 17, 1954. Thomas and Dorothy had four children. Rick Ragon and wife Lorie of Weatherford Texas, David and Debbie Hedgpeth of Kerrville Texas, Mark Ragon and wife Sharon of Fredericksburg, and Steve Ragon and his wife Rosemary of Weatherford Texas. She had 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Ragon, four sisters Tenny Cline, Lois Davis, Corrine Meek, Lorrine Walker, brother James Curtis, mom and dad John and Jetty Curtis. She is survived by Wayne and Neva Curtis of Wichita Falls Texas, Bobby Cline of Colleyville Texas, and many nieces and nephews. 

She loved spending time with family and friends and was very loving and giving. You were made to feel welcome in her home and she wouldn’t be satisfied unless you ate or drank something while you were there. She loved to cook for her family.

She would always update you on what was going on politically whether you wanted to know or not. She wanted to make sure she got her vote in for her candidate.

She was a practical joker and loved to make people laugh. She made everyone feel special and everyone that came in contact with her loved her. She touched many lives even in her last days during her hospital stays.

She will be missed by those who knew her

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
