Emily will be laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Her grandfathers, John Barmore and Paul Meyer, will have the honor of serving as pallbearers.
Emily, also known as "diva" in the neonatal unit of Harris Methodist Hospital was born on Aug. 1, 2014. Emily came into the world with challenges, but our baby girl came prepared to live life fully. Her determined and feisty spirit is what led to her nickname. The nurses were amazed at how Emily would continue to fight when the odds were against her. She is our little miracle and we feel blessed for every day we had with her. Emily loved to be swaddled and held by her mommy and daddy. Although few, we will cherish the sweet days we shared with our little girl, Emily.
She will be dearly missed by her parents, Ryan and Sarah; big brother, Nathan; grandparents, Paul and Connie Meyer, John and Sharon Barmore; aunts and uncles, Anna and Justin Sweeley, Dayna and Michael Jacobsen, Ellie Meyer, Torrey Meyer and Tyler Barmore; and numerous cousins.
