Ernest "Ernie" R Crawford

Ernie was born on Friday, August 2nd,1968 in Lowell, Massachusetts to Francis A. Crawford, Jr. and Sophia M. Crawford. He lived in Massachusetts until 1978 when his family relocated to Big Spring, Texas.

He graduated from Big Spring High School in 1986 and earned his Associates Degree at Howard Jr. College in 1988. He soon moved to Lubbock, Texas to further his education at Texas Tech University. In 1990 he moved to the Dallas area and began his thirty three year career in the IT industry. He recently retired from Tidel Engineering this past June and was able to start enjoying his lake property on Lake of the Pines.

Ernie is survived by his mother Sophia, brother George, nieces Tiffany and Sarah, and nephew Nathanial. He has two great nephews, Maleki and Elijah and one great niece Celeste. Other surviving family members include four aunts and uncles, ten cousins, and eleven great cousins. Close and dear friends of his include Steve, Chris, and Dave. Ernie is preceded in death by his father Frank, both sets of grandparents; George & Ruth Pappas, and Frank & Annie Crawford, and his uncle, Robert Crawford.

A “Celebration of Life” memorial service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034 on Saturday August 26th at 2pm. This will be a casual event.
