Glen Edwin Hixon, age 81,of Bedford, Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2016. Glen was born in 1934 in Hillsboro to Elmo Roy and Lorene Hixon. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve and worked for the FAA for 39 years. After his retirement he went to work for American Eagle for two years and then ran his own business until a week before his passing. He was a member of Airport Freeway Church of Christ for over 30 years. He was loved and he will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles Hixon. Survivors: Glen is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Naomi J. Hixon; his children, Michael Hixon and wife, Melissa, Karen Eastman and husband, Dennis, and Michelle Star and husband, Peter; grandchildren, Russell Hixon, Justin Moore, Jon Hixon, Kelli Hixon, Rebecca Zemen, Sarah Zemen, Melissa Riggan and husband, Aaron, Brian Eastman and wife, Kacey, Calvin Eastman and Marissa Star; great-grandchild, Anthony Swanson; sisters, Sue Szbacsan, Shirley Logan, Mary Nell Baggett and husband, Sherman; and his sister-in-law, Linda Hixon.
