Glen Mae Thomson

Glen Mae Thomson of Colleyville, TX passed away on Thursday, Oct 12, 2017. She was born to Robert J. Carson and Jane M. Carson. She married and had three sons with James L. Tweddle who preceded her in death. She married again to George F. Thomson who also proceeded her in death. She graduated from Westinghouse High School in Pittsburgh PA and she attended the Pittsburgh ART Institute and the school of Design. Glen will be remembered as a as a loving, gentle and kind person who loved life and all that knew her in any way. Her family knew they could always find her good logic and sense of kindness to weather any storm. She was an avid reader, crafter and loved sewing and embroidery. Glen Loved Her I-Pad and used it to keep up with family and friends. She had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior. She is survived by her three sons and their wives. Lawrence (Michele) Tweddle, Daniel (Kate) Tweddle, Dennis (Jacqueline) Tweddle. Sister, Christine A. Carson, Niece, Danielle Evans of Orlando, FL. Heather (Robert) Woodside of West Mifflin, PA. And nephew Robert J Carson (Samantha) of Ohio. Grandchildren Christopher, Meagan, Sarah, Delaine, Dennis J., Megan and Nichole. Great grandchildren Roman, Evie, Rex, Paige, Destiny, Aurora Rose, and Aria Ivy. Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert H, Carson, niece Kimberly J Evans. Memorial service will be held Monday October 16, 2017 at 10am at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Her ashes will be joined with her husband George and spread in New Jersey at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, The Salvation Army, The Disabled Veterans of America, or The Officer Down Memorial Fund.
