

Harold Lloyd Shelton, 90, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and mentor, went to join his Lord and Savior and beautiful bride, Shirley, on Wednesday, August 18,2021 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Visitation will be held at 9AM, followed by a celebration of life service at 10AM on Saturday, August 28 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home located at 5275 Colleyville Boulevard. Harold was born on November 27,1930 in Palo Pinto, TX. He was a loving man of God and everyone who knew him was blessed to have him in their lives. He was a 1949 graduate of Santo High School in Palo Pinto County and married the love of his life in 1951. After retiring from 40 years of employment at Bell Helicopter, he enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling the world with Shirley, his wife. He was a 50-year Master Mason in Tarrant Lodge #942 and served as a Deacon in his local church, First Baptist Church Smithfield, for many years and was a longtime member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his lovely wife of 62 years, Shirley Graves Shelton. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Sparks of Euless, TX, son Mike Shelton and wife Sally of Santo, TX, granddaughter Natalie Shelton, grandsons Hannon Sparks, Wade Sparks and Eric Shelton plus 2 great-grandchildren, Everleigh and Knox. His favorite scripture was Micah 6:8 which in summary states, Do Justly – Love Mercy – Walk Humbly with your God.

A visitation for Harold will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, Texas. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM, 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, Texas. A committal service will occur Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, Texas.
