Hank proudly served in the United States Navy and completed a tour in Vietnam, receiving an honorable discharge. He was a welder on offshore oil rigs and later worked in the gold mines in Utah. He spent much of his life working outdoors and was dedicated to the trucking industry throughout his career.
Hank had a great love for motorcycles, Jack Daniel’s, Lucky Strikes, and his family. His passion was Harley-Davidson. He lived life his way!
He was known for his strong personality, but more importantly for his caring and gracious heart. Hank was always willing to help others, whether he knew them or not, and was someone you could always count on.
Hank is preceded in death by his siblings Dorothy, Richard, Eddie, and Chester, as well as his parents, niece Kristy, niece Rosie, and nephew Tommy.
He is survived by his extended family, including the Gawrychowski, Nabach, and Tralka families.
Funeral arrangements will be held at DFW National Cemetery in the coming months.
We take comfort in knowing Hank is now riding free, crossing through the gates of heaven on his Harley, where his siblings Tommy, Rosie, and Kristy are all waiting for him- engines running, the road wide open, and a hell of a party already underway!
