James Alderson of Lewisville, Texas passed away on Monday, February 5 in Lewisville, TX. He was born on July 27, 1944 in Kilgore, TX to Orban and Mary Alderson. James graduated from Kilgore High School and went to Kilgore Junior College. James then went on to serve in the US Army for 3 years. As a Vietnam Veteran, he was a red beret in Special Forces in both Thailand and Vietnam. When stationed in San Antonio, he was crew chief on the Presidential support plane for President Johnson for 1 year. James is survived by his wife Linda; sons, Charles Hull and Robert Alderson; daughter, Sharee Alderson; sister, Carolynn Myers; brother and sister-in-law Don and Jeanette Scott; brother-in-law, Richard Myers, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Kathy Blackshear.
Visitation will take place on Friday, February 9 from 11:00am to 12:00pm, with services to follow at 12:30p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
