Mr. James Murray Burkley

Jim Burkley, 75, of Southlake, TX passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023. He was born in Dallas, TX on February 3, 1948. Jim graduated from WW Samuell High School and received his MBA from East Texas State University. He was married to Judy Burkley on November 16,1968. Jim had a 44 year career with Gerber Products Company. He was a member of the Food Sales Association. He frequently attended the annual Terlingua Chili Cookoff as a judge with close friends. His love of motorcycles took him all over the United States to every state but Alaska. He also had a love of playing and watching golf. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Burkley, his daughter, Kamron Stevens, grandson, Finn Stevens, brothers, Don Burkley (Vicki) and Randy Burkley (Stephanie), sister, Janet Schumacher (Lee), and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 10:30am. Cinnamon Creek Ranch Event Center 13794 Old Denton Road, Roanoke, TX 76262. Casual and comfortable attire.
