Mr. James Harvey

James “Jim” Harvey was born on March 1, 1942, in South Gate, CA, lived in Oklahoma and eventually moved to Texas where he met the love of his life, Beverly in 1974.

Jim and Beverly were married in July 1978 and built a family that consisted of her daughter, Lisa, and their son, John. Jim retired from Tarrant County in 2008 where he worked as a computer programming project manager. Jim enjoyed traveling the world with Beverly, spending time with family, building computers, participating in the Parker County Libertarian Party, and had a love and fascination for aviation.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents John and Pearl Harvey. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; son, John Harvey and wife Tammy; stepdaughter, Lisa Beck and husband Jerry; granddaughter, Brooke Stayton and husband Justin and their children; granddaughter, Emily Watkins and husband Andrew; grandson, Mason Beck and girlfriend Kady; granddaughter, Jana Cravey and husband JC and their children; sister, Audrey Beaver and husband Ron; niece, Alison Beaver-Stedman and husband Steve and their children and niece Tracey Beaver.
