I have Chris's photo from his memorial on my desk.  Every time I look at his picture, I think of how he was always so positive and so open for discussion about whatever was on my mind, usually some question about investments.

Dear Hill Family -- I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Chris.  He was a terrific colleague and even better friend.   He always brought a positive attitude and intellectual curiosity that made everyone around him better.

My wonderful, smart, handsome, cousin. I remember how you always put smiles on people’s faces. I was always in awe of all your accomplishments, especially in education. As cousins, we spent many holidays, vacations, special family events together. I will never forget those times. Like you dancing with me at Yvette’s and Johnny’s wedding or when we became John-John’s god parents. I love you and will miss you dearly but know you are feeling great with no pain in heaven watching over all of us, until we meet again. ❤️

I remember Chris as always smiling and happy. He provided for his family and was loved by all. We never know the path God gives us in life but as hard as his was,  he went down it the best he could. Rest in peace Chris you are home now but will be missed greatly by all those who love you so much!

Chris had a real impact on everyone he worked with at NEPC.  His talents and intellect made all of us better, whether he was serving as a resource for our clients or as a mentor to our newer team members. But it's his temperament, positivity, and friendship is what many of us will miss the most. All of us remain incredibly thankful for having him in our lives for as long as we did. Chris was one of my all-time favorite people.  He was kind, funny, smart, big-hearted.  I was one of Chris's consulting clients.  I always appreciated his thoughtful approach to investing.
