

Janice Marie Rogers Davis, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, in Saginaw, Texas, at the age of 74. Born on July 30, 1950, in Fort Worth, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Grover John Rogers Jr. and Mary Emma Mooney. Janice led a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, creativity and a strong belief in our Lord and Savior. She was saved at a young age and she continues with her walk with the Lord today.
Janice graduated from Haltom High School in 1968, where her passion for learning and her vibrant spirit shone brightly. Throughout her life, Janice embraced her many interests with enthusiasm. She had a green thumb and found great joy in tending to her garden, nurturing both plants and family alike. Crafting was another cherished pastime; Janice loved to sew, create ceramics, paint, and make wreaths, often sharing her creations with loved ones. Her hands crafted not only beautiful items but also memories that will be treasured forever.
For the last 25 years, Janice dedicated her time and efforts to working alongside her son at Cowser Tire & Service, where she managed the office and handled both accounts payable and receivables. Those who worked with her admired her diligence, professionalism, and the warmth she brought to the workplace.
Janice was a devoted mother, leaving behind a legacy through her two children, Kevin and wife, Michele, and Amie and husband Pete Pond. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy, and she is survived by her grandchildren: Sharon Pond, Kyle and Jordan Pond, Baylie and Tony Thompson, Collin and Maddi Davis, Schyler and Matthew Johnston, Braydon Pond, Madison and Cameron Watts, Marissa & Jared Halcomb, Regan and Brody Wiggins. With ten great-grandchildren and two more on the way, Janice’s family continues to grow, a testament to the love she fostered throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Mary, as well as her beloved sisters, Donna Jean Gayan and Doris Ann Pratt, and brothers, Donald Eugene Rogers and Jerry Lee Rogers. Janice's family and friends will forever carry her memory in their hearts, inspired by her unwavering strength and kindness.
A visitation for Janice will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034.
A celebration of Janice’s remarkable life will be held on April 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Heritage Baptist Church, located at 1200 S Hwy 156, Haslet, TX 76052. All who knew her are invited to pay their respects and share in the love and memories that will continue to shine brightly in her honor.
Janice will be laid to rest, later in the day, at1:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Heritage Baptist Church Medical Missions – Janice loved being able to help send others to spread the Gospel as they help with their physical needs.
