

James L. Wiggins of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away on August 16th, 2018 in Roanoke, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving father and good friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born in Sigourney, Iowa on September 16, 1951 to James Wiggins and Phyllis Grove, and raised in Texas with stepfather Bill James.
He graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1970, where he played on the varsity high school football team. Jim was married to Sharon LaCrosse on January 6, 1973 in Fort Worth, Texas. He spent the next 45 years by her side as a faithful husband. Jim was an employee at Mortex Manufacturing for many years, and retired in 2013. Jim was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed spending weekends attending his grandchildren’s sports activities.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon, daughters and sons-in-law, Tiffani and Brian Heidebrecht of Southlake, TX, Candice and Chris Kelly of Colleyville, TX, and son and daughter-in-law James and Cassie Wiggins of North Richland Hills, TX; 7 grandchildren – Dylon Gaither, Bradley Heidebrecht, Collin Kelly, Jonathan Heidebrecht, Ryan Kelly, Audrey Wiggins, and Daniel Wiggins; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Laine Wiggins, and sisters and brothers-in law, Jill and Gaspar Laduca, Dana and Neil Neal, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The visitation will be held from 6 to 8 o’clock on Friday, August 24th, at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25th in Colleyville, Texas at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
