“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also…” Proverbs 31:28
JoAnn was born in Kopperl, TX on January 25, 1939 to the late Garvin and Anna Britt. She grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas and attended Polytechnic High School. She met her late husband, Bill Sharbine, in 1955 while working at Everybody’s Department Store in Ft. Worth. They married on December 23, 1955 and were married for 66 years. They built a beautiful life together and raised their two children in the HEB area. They traveled the world together experiencing all kinds of adventure. But the most important thing in their lives was their love for Christ and his church.
JoAnn deeply loved God, her husband, her children, Pam and Wes, her grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler, Tiffany, Rachel, Melanie, and Will, and finally her great grandchildren, Jolie, Finley, Ella, Cooper, Ellie, Hattie, Nate, Emory, Weston, Sophia, Walker and Benjamin.
JoAnn was a faithful Christian who showed her faith every day through her love and service to her family, friends and anyone in need.
She was a seamstress, a wonderful cook, and everyone who knew her had probably either bought or received one of her beautiful pressed flower greeting cards. She had a heart of gold, a quick wit and she loved to laugh. She always carried herself with grace and was a beautiful example of godliness to her family and others.
She is survived by her daughter Pam Morse and husband Randy, son Wes Sharbine and wife Edwina and five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Garvin Britt and Anna Titus, stepfather Warren Titus, two brothers Dean and Billy Britt, grandson Tyler Morse and her husband Bill Sharbine.
