Joe Clifford Gardner of Sherman, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in White Settlement, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving father and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on August 9, 1936 to Admiral Dewey Gardner and Lillie B. Bray.

Joe is survived by his wife, Levoy Evon Gardner of Colleyville, TX; children, Levoy Lee Koonce and husband Leroy of Atlanta, TX, Eric Gardner of Spring Town, TX, William Gardner and wife Teresa of Burleson, TX, Robin Piwnica of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Alisha Weatherford of Ft. Worth, TX, Joe Don Talbot of Ft. Worth, TX, Sarah Boroughs of Cleburne, TX, Taylor Boroughs of Cleburne, TX, and Christopher Sanford of Cleburne, TX; great -grandchild, Bellamy McDonough; and his brother, Tommy Gardner of San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Admiral Dewey Gardner and Lillie B. Bray; siblings, Bill Gardner, Jim Gardner, Jerry Gardner, Janelle Riley, Dewey Gardner, and Mary Frances Gardner.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, January 18 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home; The Funeral will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, January 19, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the memorial park.
