Joseph Rocco Castronuovo

There will be a Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, June 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shephard Catholic Church, Colleyville, Texas, in the Chapel. A Memorial Gathering will follow from 3pm to 6pm at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel.

Joseph was born in Bronx, NY on September 19, 1958 to Nicholas and Josephine Castronuovo. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from New York University Polytechnic School of Engineering. He met and later married the love of his life, Diane, in 1982. Joseph’s career took them to Texas, then Georgia and back to Texas. Joseph enjoyed his work where he made many long-lasting friendships.

Joseph was a warm and loving person and was happiest when getting together with family and friends. He had a booming voice and infectious laughter that drew others to him. “Uncle Joe” loved spending time with his nephews and nieces and thought they were amazing. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. Joseph will be missed by his family and friends and forever remembered for being a devoted husband, loving son, brother, uncle and friend.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Josephine Castronuovo. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Castronuovo; sister Marie Ascolese and brother-in-law Al, brother Nicholas Castronuovo and sister Regina Keller and brother-in-law Robert. In-laws Theresa Marchisello, Linda and Maurice Leary, Debbie Marchisello and Laura Marchisello. Nieces Theresa Leary, Kathryn and Jenna Ascolese and Sofia Keller and nephews Richard, Stephen and Chris Leary, Frank and Nicholas Ascolese, Matthew Marchisello and Robert Keller and a host of friends.
