March 25, 1976 – August 22, 2025
Justin Micah Locke, 49, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025, in Fort Worth. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and father, a loving son and brother, and a steady, reassuring presence to everyone who knew him.
Born on March 25, 1976, Justin grew up with a curiosity that never faded and a warmth that drew people close. He loved to cook and could happily spend an evening watching cooking shows, taking mental notes for the next family gathering. He had a witty, often dry sense of humor, equal parts sarcasm and good-natured charm, that made ordinary moments lighter. He took pride in his extensive knowledge of computers and enjoyed fixing things around the house and envisioning how to make them better. He had a distinguished career as an IT Director, a role that let him explore his lifelong love of technology and help others through it. He loved to travel, appreciated quality in the little things, and, most of all, cherished time with family. Kindness and gentleness were his hallmarks; Justin was a constant presence in his family’s life, steady, thoughtful, and always there. He was also surrounded by a wide circle of loved ones, numerous friends and family who thought of him as a brother.
Justin is survived by his wife, Angela Locke; his son, Jonah Locke; his mother, Connie Miranda, and her husband, Vic; his brother, Ty Locke, and Ty’s wife, Shari; and his nephew, Tristan Locke. He is also dearly missed by his aunts, Julie Jones and Nancy Moewe, and his uncle, Pat Duncan. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sean Locke and Jeff Locke, and his father, Dr. John B. Locke.
From his son Jonah:
“My dad was always very supportive and loving. He couldn’t go anywhere without his techno music and his Nike Air Force Ones. He was very good at fixing things around the house and envisioning what he was planning to do. Anywhere he went he could lighten up the mood with his silly dad jokes, and I couldn’t have had anyone as a father better than him.”
